- ║ USE YOUR COPY, NOT THE LIBRARY'S ║
- ╟─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╢
- ║ ║
- ║ Never use the library's copy of the PDSOF disk. You could easily ruin ║
- ║ it. Remember, you are fully responsible for any damage or alteration ║
- ║ to the library's disk copy and its files. Therefore, make your self- ║
- ║ booting copy now. Follow these 3 steps: ║
- ║ ║
- ║ 1) Format a blank 360K disk. You must use DOS Version 2.0 or ║
- ║ higher. Use the "/S" switch (consult your DOS manual if you ║
- ║ are unfamiliar with disk formatting). To format a disk in ║
- ║ Drive B, for example, enter the following command: ║
- ║ ║
- ║ FORMAT B:/S ║
- ║ ║
- ║ 2) Copy BASICA.COM to your just-formatted disk. If you have an ║
- ║ IBM PC clone, consult your BASIC manual (you may, for example, ║
- ║ have to use BASICA.EXE and GWBASIC.EXE in place of BASICA.COM). ║
- ║ ║
- ║ 3) Copy all the files on the PDSOF disk onto your disk. ║
